UK Alternative
A UK Alternative to The Peptide Code
Read up before you buy: reference guides that summarise the published research.
Researchers comparing suppliers often search for The Peptide Code, and MY PEPTIDES is worth assessing alongside it. We synthesise research compounds at our own UK facility, and alongside the catalogue we publish reference guides that summarise what the published research reports for individual compounds. The Peptide Code is named here only as the term being compared, and we make no claims about it; the sections below explain how our guides are written and how to judge any supplier's reference material. All compounds are supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research use only.
Our research-supply standards
99%+ HPLC Purity
Every batch is verified by high-performance liquid chromatography. The measured purity figure is recorded on the batch COA — not a marketing claim.
COA With Every Order
A batch-specific Certificate of Analysis ships with every order. Sample COAs are accessible from the COA library before you order.
UK Dispatch
Orders confirmed before the daily cut-off ship the same working day from our UK facility, with tracked next-working-day UK delivery as standard.
Research-Only Supply
All compounds are supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. Documentation, labelling and packaging reflect that restriction.
Our research compound catalogue
A reference library, not a sales pitch
Researchers often want to read about a compound before deciding whether it belongs in their work, so we publish reference guides alongside the catalogue. Each one explains what a compound is and summarises what the published research reports, with the sources it draws on, and every guide is framed for in-vitro laboratory research use only. Some cover compounds we do not stock, and say so. The compounds we do supply are synthesised at our own UK facility, delivered as pre-mixed liquid vials with a batch Certificate of Analysis, and dispatched the same day for orders placed before 3pm, Monday to Friday. All compounds are supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research use only.
How the guides are written
Each guide starts from the published literature rather than from the product. It sets out what a compound is, where it appears in the research record and what studies have reported, attributing each point to its source so a reader can check it. A good reference guide also says what kind of evidence it rests on, whether cell work, animal models or studies in people, because a finding means different things in each.
Our guides do not give dosing or administration guidance; where a reader is likely to ask, the guide says so directly. Several cover compounds we do not stock at all, because a clear explanation is useful whether or not we sell the material. Where we do supply a compound, the guide and the product page do different jobs: one explains, the other describes what is in the vial.
Judging any supplier's reference material
Reference pages on supplier websites range from careful summaries to thinly disguised adverts, so a few checks help. Are claims attributed to published sources you could look up yourself? Is it clear whether a finding comes from cell work, animal models or people? Does the page stay within research use, or drift into advice it has no business giving? Would the page still make sense with the product links taken out?
We write our own guides to pass those tests, and we would suggest applying them to every supplier on your shortlist. Reference material that passes them is a reasonable sign that a supplier takes the research framing seriously; material that fails them tells you something too.
Frequently asked questions
- Is MY PEPTIDES a good alternative to The Peptide Code?
- MY PEPTIDES is worth comparing if you like to read about a compound before buying it. Alongside a catalogue made at our own UK facility, we publish reference guides that summarise the published research for individual compounds, including some we do not stock. Every order includes a batch Certificate of Analysis, and weekday orders placed before 3pm are dispatched the same day. Compare what each supplier publishes and decide on that.
- Is MY PEPTIDES affiliated with The Peptide Code?
- No. MY PEPTIDES is a separate, independent UK company and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with The Peptide Code or any business trading under a similar name. We use the name only because researchers search for it when comparing suppliers, and any related names or marks belong to their respective owners.
- What do the MY PEPTIDES reference guides cover?
- Each guide explains what a compound is and summarises what the published research reports about it, with the sources it draws on. The guides are framed for in-vitro laboratory research use only, and they do not give dosing or administration guidance.
- Do you publish guides on compounds you don't sell?
- Yes, where researchers are looking for clear information. Those guides say plainly that we do not stock the compound, and they do not point you to a substitute.
- How should I judge a supplier's reference material?
- Check whether claims are attributed to published sources you can look up, whether it is clear what kind of study a finding comes from, and whether the material stays within research use. Reference content that reads like an advert for the product beside it deserves more caution than content that would stand on its own.
