Peptide Pen — Reusable Auto-Injector

A reusable metal auto-injector built around a 3 mL cartridge, for dispensing precise, repeatable volumes of solution in a laboratory setting.

Turning the dose knob rotates a threaded push-rod, converting rotation into linear travel and advancing the plunger to displace solution from the cartridge. A tactile ratchet produces one audible, feelable click per increment, so every step is discrete and repeatable rather than a free-running slide. One click advances the plunger by exactly 1/300th of its travel — 0.01 mL — giving 300 clicks to a full 3 mL cartridge.

That fixed step is the entire point of the device. Dispensing the same small volume the same way every time removes a source of variability, so results can be attributed to the compound rather than to inconsistent handling. Supplied as a reusable body; needles are sold separately.
