KLOW peptide: composition, format and quality

KLOW peptide is the industry name for a four-peptide research blend — KPV, BPC-157, TB-500 and GHK-Cu in one vial. It is sold as the KLOW blend, KLOW 80mg, the KLOW stack or simply KLOW. The name is a supplier convention rather than a single molecule, so what you are buying is defined entirely by the four components and how much of each is in the vial. Ours is supplied pre-mixed, as a solution in one sealed vial, with the reusable metal pen and needles in the box, and it ships from our UK facility with a batch Certificate of Analysis.

80mg in total, split unevenly on purpose. GHK-Cu is five-eighths of the vial by mass, and the three other peptides share the remaining 30mg equally. That ratio is the first thing to compare between suppliers, because the name "KLOW" does not fix it: two vials both labelled KLOW 80mg can carry different amounts of each component. KLOW vs GLOW

The two blends are confused constantly because they share three components.

  • GLOW — BPC-157 (10mg), TB-500 (10mg) and GHK-Cu (50mg). Three peptides, 70mg.
  • KLOW — the same three plus KPV (10mg). Four peptides, 80mg.

KLOW is therefore GLOW with an α-MSH-fragment tripeptide added. KPV is studied in melanocortin-linked and inflammatory-signalling models, a different pathway family from the copper-dependent, peptide-signalling and cytoskeletal work the other three appear in. A laboratory whose question does not involve that pathway usually wants the smaller set; one comparing melanocortin-linked signalling alongside the other three wants KLOW. Pre-mixed KLOW vs lyophilised KLOW

Most UK suppliers sell KLOW as a single co-lyophilised powder — the four peptides freeze-dried together in one vial — which has to be reconstituted with bacteriostatic water before it can be used. Ours is supplied already in solution. In practice that changes four things:

  1. No reconstitution step. There is no powder to dissolve, no bacteriostatic water to buy separately, and no pipetting error introduced at the bench. The composition you receive is the composition on the certificate.
  2. A fixed, documented preparation. The mass of each component in the vial is stated per batch, so every vial from the same batch is the same preparation.
  3. Cold chain from dispatch to bench. A solution has to stay cold, so every vial leaves us chilled — frozen gel packs inside a sealed foil pouch, inside an insulated envelope — and goes into a 2–8 °C refrigerator on arrival. Do not freeze it.
  4. A stated storage window. A sealed lyophilised vial is designed to sit on a shelf; a solution is designed to be used within the period on its label. Buy for the study in front of you rather than for a shelf.

Reconstitution guidance is deliberately absent from this page, because there is nothing to reconstitute.

How the four compounds are studied

Each component has its own single-compound literature, and it is worth being precise about what a blend can and cannot tell you. Published in-vitro and preclinical work has examined GHK-Cu as a bound-copper carrier in copper-dependent signalling and extracellular-matrix models, KPV as a C-terminal α-MSH fragment in melanocortin-linked and NF-κB-related signalling assays, BPC-157 as a probe for peptide-mediated signalling in cellular models, and TB-500 in actin-binding and cell-migration work. No published study has examined the four together, and no combined effect is claimed: the blend is a research convenience that lets a laboratory investigate several sequences acting on different pathways from one characterised preparation. A blend can show whether something happens in a system; single compounds are needed to ask why, which is why all four are also supplied individually. These are laboratory observations only and not established effects in humans or animals.

Quality: HPLC purity and the Certificate of Analysis

Every KLOW batch is verified by high-performance liquid chromatography at 99%+ purity, and the figure on the Certificate of Analysis is the value recorded for that batch rather than a generic claim. A batch-specific COA ships with every order, and sample certificates are viewable in the COA library before you buy. The four components are also certified individually, so a per-component certificate exists for each peptide in the vial. The material is synthesised and dispatched from our own UK facility rather than imported and relabelled.

Storage and handling

  • Refrigerate at 2–8 °C as soon as the parcel arrives, and keep the vial sealed and protected from light.
  • Do not freeze. Freeze–thaw cycling damages peptides that are already in solution.
  • Draw from the vial using standard aseptic laboratory technique.
  • Check the batch certificate for the recorded appearance and the storage window for that lot.
