UK Alternative

A UK Alternative to Future Peptides

Pre-mixed vials arrive chilled: refrigerate them at 2–8 °C on arrival, and never freeze them.

Researchers comparing suppliers often search for Future Peptides, and MY PEPTIDES is worth assessing alongside it. We synthesise research compounds at our own UK facility and supply them as pre-mixed liquid vials, which means storage after delivery matters as much as handling before it. Future Peptides is named here only as the term being compared, and we make no claims about it; the sections below cover how our vials should be stored and what to ask any supplier about storage. All compounds are supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research use only.

Our research-supply standards

99%+ HPLC Purity

Every batch is verified by high-performance liquid chromatography. The measured purity figure is recorded on the batch COA — not a marketing claim.

COA With Every Order

A batch-specific Certificate of Analysis ships with every order. Sample COAs are accessible from the COA library before you order.

UK Dispatch

Orders confirmed before the daily cut-off ship the same working day from our UK facility, with tracked next-working-day UK delivery as standard.

Research-Only Supply

All compounds are supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. Documentation, labelling and packaging reflect that restriction.

Storage starts when the parcel arrives

A vial's journey does not end at the door. Our compounds are synthesised at our own UK facility and supplied as pre-mixed liquid vials, which travel chilled in a sealed foil pouch with ice packs and should go straight into a refrigerator at 2–8 °C on arrival. From there, each vial is used within the window shown on its label rather than stockpiled, and it is never frozen. Every product page carries its own storage instructions, our storage guide explains the reasoning, and each order includes the batch Certificate of Analysis for the material supplied. Weekday orders placed before 3pm are dispatched the same day on a tracked UK service. All compounds are supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research use only.

Why a solution is stored differently from powder

Most storage advice for research peptides is written for lyophilised powder, which is dry, stable for long periods and can be kept very cold. A peptide in solution behaves differently. It is less stable over long timescales, so it is kept refrigerated and used within a defined window, and it must not be frozen, because freeze–thaw cycling damages a peptide that is already dissolved.

That is why the two forms should never share a storage plan. If your laboratory already keeps powder in a freezer, pre-mixed vials belong in the refrigerator instead, marked with their arrival date so the window on the label can be tracked.

Storage questions worth asking any supplier

Storage guidance is part of what a supplier should provide, not an afterthought. Is the compound supplied as powder or in solution, and does the storage advice match that form? At what temperature should it be kept on arrival, and for how long? Is there a use-by window on the label? Does the supplier explain what to avoid, such as freezing a solution or exposing it to light and repeated temperature swings?

Our answers are on each product page and in our storage guide: in solution, refrigerated at 2–8 °C on arrival, used within the window on the label, never frozen, and kept away from heat and light. Asking every supplier on your shortlist the same questions makes it easier to compare how each expects its material to be handled.

Frequently asked questions

Is MY PEPTIDES a good alternative to Future Peptides?
If you want material that arrives ready to store rather than to prepare, MY PEPTIDES is worth comparing. Our vials are made in the UK and supplied in solution, packed chilled in a sealed foil pouch with ice packs, and dispatched the same day for orders placed before 3pm, Monday to Friday. Each order includes a batch Certificate of Analysis. Compare storage and handling with every supplier on your shortlist and decide on that.
Is MY PEPTIDES affiliated with Future Peptides?
No. MY PEPTIDES is a separate, independent UK company and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with Future Peptides or any business trading under a similar name. We use the name only because researchers search for it when comparing suppliers, and any related names or marks belong to their respective owners.
How should MY PEPTIDES vials be stored?
In a refrigerator at 2–8 °C from the moment they arrive, and used within the window shown on the label. Because the peptide is already in solution, the vials should never be frozen: freeze–thaw cycling damages peptides in solution.
Why not freeze them for longer storage?
Freezer advice is written for lyophilised powder, which is dry and tolerates cold well. A peptide already in solution is damaged by freeze–thaw cycling, so pre-mixed vials are kept refrigerated and used within their window rather than stockpiled.
What else affects stability?
Heat, light, moisture and repeated temperature swings can all degrade a peptide. Keeping vials cold, sealed and away from light until they are needed, and avoiding repeated trips in and out of the refrigerator, protects the material described on its certificate.
