Sharps Bin — 0.25 L Pocket Disposal Container

A compact, puncture-resistant sharps container for the safe collection and disposal of needles, lancets and other laboratory sharps. At 0.25 litres it is built to sit on the bench rather than under it — small enough to keep within arm's reach of the work area, so sharps go straight into the container at the point of use instead of being set down first.

The lid carries a slotted needle-removal aperture and a splined wheel for unscrewing threaded pen needles, allowing a needle to be detached and dropped without being handled. A two-stage closure lets the lid be shut temporarily between uses (one click) and then locked permanently for disposal (two clicks); once locked it cannot be reopened.

Moulded in yellow polypropylene to the standard biohazard colour convention, marked UN3291 for transport, and printed with fields for establishment, unit and in-service date. Supplied empty and unassembled.

Never force waste into the container or attempt to reopen a permanently closed lid.
